I’m Rebecca!
I am the lucky mother of two amazing sons, Stephen and Patrick, who have redefined my purpose and my priorities in life.

In 2010, it became evident that I would be continuing the journey of parenthood alone. Also, around the same time my younger son, Patrick, was diagnosed with Autism and others developmental disabilities.

In 2012, I made the choice to move my little family across country to Utah. It’s been the biggest and best decision I ever made. I have an amazing job that allows me to travel with my children and schedule work around being a mother. I live in paradise, surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscaped in the world. I couldn’t imagine ever living anywhere else again.

Patrick has always had super-human amounts of energy, but as he has gotten older he has developed increasing sensitivity to crowded areas and noises. I decided to try to introduce more secluded outdoor activities to our routine to keep him active, while avoiding crowded areas, like the parks and crowds which overwhelm him.

It was in this decision that I found a miracle. It’s as though the wilderness strips away all his challenges. The outdoors gives Patrick a place where he can be himself, and where he can show off the parts of himself that are actually quite advanced for his age. It also allowed Stephen and I to enjoy our time with Patrick without the stresses of worrying about his safety, or protecting him from the judgement of others.

I love and cherish every adventure and the memories it creates!

I created this page give info about the many fun places to visit around the region we live in, and inspire other families to seek the fun of the outdoors.
